The Appleseed is FINALLY gone . . .

Waiting Patiently
I'm still waiting The appleseed ear I'm so scared Luke starting to cryWe got it!! Here it is Mom rewarded Luke with an ice cream cone from McDonald's
Two weeks ago Luke came home from grandma Collette's house and told me that he had put an appleseed in his left ear. I looked in his ear and yep there it was. I tried to get it out but it went deeper in his ear. On Saturday Luke started complaining that his left ear was hurting so finally today I took him to his ear doctor. Dr. M located the appleseed and tried to get it out, but it was inside his ear pretty good. So Luke had to lay down on the office bed and Dr. M had to use a microscope to find it again. The nurse and I had to hold Luke real still. Dr. M went inside his ear with a really long sharp tool and guess what . . . he pulled out a large, brown appleseed. Dr. M thought it was a watermelon seed. Luke cried a little bit, but he was a trooper and mom was so proud of him! I took pictures before and after of Luke and the appleseed. What an adventure! Luke loves to get into everything.

Two months ago Luke stuffed a big wad of bubblegum up his nose, so lucky me, I had to go after it. Lets put it this way, it was not a small piece of bubblegum. The gum was very StReTcHy!! -------------------

Christmas Tree Tag . . .

My friend Carly tagged me with the "christmas tree tag" so here's our christmas trees. The first one is our family christmas tree. Each year the kids get to pick out there own ornaments at the store and put them on the tree. We have been doing this ever since Whitney and Allie were little. The kids look forward to it every year. Now our tree is full of cute ornaments!
Whitney's twilight christmas tree

One of the ornaments on her tree

This is Whitney's Twilight Christmas tree that she has in her room. She loved the movie Twilight so much that she decided to make a twilight tree. It turned out pretty cute! Who would've thought of that idea. I wouldn't have. She sure is creative.

Kevin puttin up the lights

whitney and savannah helping kevin with the lights some of the christmas decorations And the stockings were hung . . .

I love this time of year! I love spending time with my family and making new traditions. On Thanksgiving night Kevin and I put up our christmas tree. All of the kids helped decorate and we all had a great time! Luke loved putting on the candy canes and of course taking them off. It took us awhile to get the tree decorated. But we did it, and we love it!
