Happy Birthday Whitney!!

On March 13th my oldest daughter Whitney turned 15! I can't believe it! Her dad Kevin took her out for her first driving lesson and said she did AMAZING for her first time of driving! For her birthday I took her and her friend down to Gateway to go shopping, out to lunch, and later that night Whitney, her two friends, and Alli went and did the iFly! They had a BLAST! Whitney thought the iFly instructors we're major babes, which made it all the more better! Ha ha! :)

Whitney and I love to go shopping together! It's fun shopping for the same kind of clothes as my 15 yr old! I got to stay young some how right? We went to the Skybox for lunch and had pizza, salad, and an amazing chocolate brownie dessert! While I was walking out of the Barnes and Noble Bookstore I looked over and saw these 2 cute girls riding in this horse drawn carriage :) little did I know it was Whitney and Sierra! They paid there own money to ride it for $15. I thought that was so cute! The girls getting ready to do iFly! Whitney, Lindsey, and Sierra :D Whitney and her little sis Allison. The 4 Goofy Girls!! They were so EXCITED! Whoo!! They're really flying! This is what they looked like after doing iFly! Then we drove down to Layton to go to Zeppes. We love that place!
The girls enjoying their gelatas :)
For Whitney's Birthday present we got her tickets to her favorite heart throb teen, Justin Bieber's CONCERT!! He's coming this summer to the E CENTER! And what's even better is that we got FLOOR SEATS!! Whitney cannot wait to finally see her hottie!! :)

Catching Up . . .

Oh boy, here we go with catching up from a few months ago! In September 2009, Kevin and I took an amazing trip to Kauai! We had the time of our lives! All we wanted to do was Relax, Relax, and more Relax!!! Kevin and I love going on trips just the two of us, and getting to spend lots of time together!

We had a blast and can't wait to go back!! This year for Halloween the kids wanted to dress up like spooky people. Luke was Dracula and Savannah was a Vampire girl. Allison was a cute Hippie girl. Luke's favorite thing to say to people is "I want to suck your blood." It was so funny, everybody loved it. Whitney had a fun party at our house with a bunch of friends. They played games, ate pizza, went to the Syracuse spook ally, and even went toilet papering! Halloween is my favorite holiday. Lots of get togethers, lots of food, fun parties, and FUN! For Thanksgiving our family went to San Francisco to visit Kevin's parents who are serving on an 18 month church mission. We had a great time visiting with them and seeing lots of great sights. Our favorite thing that we did was going to see the Broadway play "Wicked." It was AMAZING! Kevin's favorite part of the trip was going to Pebble Beach where the world's most famous golf players play in the major golf tournaments. Kevin was in Golf heaven. It was so fun watching him and seeing how excited he was to be there. We had lots of fun with Grammy and Papa! They are doing an awesome job on their mission. We are so proud of them and we love them! We can't wait to go back to San Francisco again someday. Christmas morning with the kids was wonderful! Santa made it to our house and the kids were so happy to see what he had brought them. We spent the whole day with family and the kids had fun hanging out with their cousins from Texas. We are so grateful for this time of the year and for our Savior and all that he has done for us. We feel very blessed. At Grandma and Grandpa Healy's house on Christmas Day. We had a great time. In the last few months all 3 girls have had dance recitals. They did such a great job and had so much fun! I'm really proud of them. They are such sweet girls. A couple weeks ago our family went down to Salt Lake for 2 days and 2 nights to stay at a fun place to go Swimming and to relax. The hotel that we stayed at was called Staybridge Suites. It had an awesome indoor waterslide, a kids swimming area, 2 pools, and a large hot tub. I recommend it for families wanting to go and have some fun with their kids.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe that I am actually caught up! I will definately try to do better in keeping up my blog in the future.

What a crazy night of action!! . . .

Last night Kevin and I went out on a date to see a great movie "Dear John." After the movie we were going to go to Wal Mart to get some groceries, but we decided we better head home to check on the kids. We got home around 9:30 PM. Whitney and her friend Sierra and the rest of the kids were playing and watching a movie. At 10:15 PM Sierra's dad came and picked her up. Whitney got a phone call right after Sierra left telling her that there was an old looking car parked across the street with a Mexican guy inside of it. She told Whitney he looked really suspicious and you might want to check it out. Kevin got in the car, drove around the block twice, and got his license plate number. There definately was a guy in the car. Kevin came in the house and called 911. We were peeking outside the window making sure this guy wasn't gonna leave. A few minutes later our friends pulled up to our house to pick up their daughter Hannah. As soon as they pulled up to our house the guy in the car turned on his lights and took off. We had just hung up the phone with 911 when the mexican guy took off, so we had to call the police back to tell them where he was headed. We were all very nervous wondering who this weirdo guy was. The Sheriff pulled up two minutes later and I ran outside to give the sheriff the guy's description and license plate number. The sheriff sped off heading East. Kevin and the girls jumped in the car and followed the sheriff truck. When they got there they had pulled the guy over and a few minutes later had handcuffed the guy and put him in their police car. There were three sheriff trucks there. There were dogs in the police truck. The tow truck showed up to haul the guys car away. Around 11:20 PM the police came back to our house and told us that the guy said he was just texting his girlfriend that lived in this area. Crazy guy! WHAT A NIGHT!! Pretty scary if you ask me! I don't know what this guy was doing, but I sure hope he wasn't watching our house or our kids!

I know its been forever since I blogged, but i'm going to catch up on blogging tonight! So tune in a little later when I can update the past few months.

Birthdays . . .

Wow what a crazy few months it has been! I am finally getting some what caught up on the past few months. Ever since March we have celebrated a birthday in our family and it has been so much fun! Six birthdays within four months can be a bit overwhelming. We have had a great summer with the kids and Kevin and I have done a lot of fun things together.
Wow, my Savannah smiles daughter is 7 years old! She turned 7 on April 2nd. I can't believe that next year she'll be 8! For Savannah's birthday this year she really wanted to get her nails done with her best friend Hannah! They were both sooo excited. Our cute friend Cami Watson did their nails and they turned out soo cute! Savannah got some really fun birthday presents and we all ad a fun time celebrating with her! We love you Savannah!
It was my birthday on April 14th. I can't believe that I am 38! It's crazy! Kevin and the kids woke me up and spoiled me again with fun gifts, and an amazing breakfast. Just a few days before my birthday we were all in St. George celebrating Easter and now we are celebrating "ME." It was a wonderful day! Beautiful Birthday flowers from my sweetheart Kevin, that i love and adore! We have soo much fun together. My kids wrote me such nice, cute messages for my birthday! Allison did something extra amazing. She spent over an hour writing "38" things that she loves about me! Too cute! It made me cry! I am sooo grateful to be a mom to such sweet kids, and an awesome husband who loves and adores me! I love you all! Thanks again!

Allie turned 10 yrs. old on May 9th. Ten years ago on May 9, 1999 Kevin and I were soo blessed with our second beaufiul dark haired, dark eyed little girl! Alli was born on Mother's Day at 10:45 A.M. in Louisville Kentucky. Allison has been such a joy to have in mine and her daddys lives! Alli is a quiet, happy, sensitive, friendly and loving daughter. She is always looking out for others. This year for her birthday she wanted to have her cute friends over to our house for a fun birthday party. We played lots of fun games, made cute flower pens and flower pots (these were a real hit with the girls.) We ate cake and ice cream and opened lots of presents.

Happy 38th Birthday to my handsome and awesome husband! His birthday was May 15th. For Kevin's birthday, I arranged for my mom and dad to watch the kids, while Kevin and I stayed for 2 days and one night in one of our favorite getaway spots. . . .Park City! We went shopping, ate at the Baja Mexican Cantina (sooo good!), breakfast on Main Street in Park City, and then went to Salt Lake City to see a new movie release, ate some more, hung out and laughed, and best of all, we got to spend some great quality time with each other! We have grown sooo much closer these past few years. We have been through a lot of ups and downs together. But it has strengthened us as husband and wife, father and mother, and greatest of all BEST FRIENDS!!! We will be Eternal Partners for the eternities! I love you Kevin!!
Happy 4th Birthday to my little buddy Luke! He turned 4 years old on June 13th! You are sooo full of life, and I love to watch you everyday with the cute and funny things that you do! Luke wanted a pirate birthday cake, and lots of fun boy presents. He got a cute red plasma car, and Thomas the Train train set (he absolutely loves trains!) He got cute baseball hats, cute new pajamas and clothes, a new cars umbrella, he loves to stand out in the rain with different umbrellas. Its so cute!! The night of his party we had the cousins and Grandma and Grandpas over to celebrate the "BIG 4." What a fun night we had! We love you Luke! Happy Birthday Bud!

St. Patrick's Day . . .

Allie and Whitney eating green waffles Savannah loved her st. patricks day note from mom Green eggs and waffles ... yummy! Cute little Luke . . . all dressed in green Kevin, Luke, and Jenny

St. Patrick's Day, I love this fun holiday! When I was a little girl my mom always made it a fun green day! She always made green pancakes and green eggs. So this year I did the same thing. The kids were way excited to wake up to green food. They weren't too sure if they wanted to eat the green eggs. I thought it was funny watching them try there green eggs. I also wrote each of them a love note to tell them how "lucky" I was to have them in my life. The kids all wore green and lucky for them they didn't get pinched. Even Kevin and I wore green. Luke and I went out to lunch with Kevin. We had a fun time spending a couple of hours together with each other. Hope you all had a Happy St. Patrick's Day! I sure did!

Whitney's Birthday . . .

The girls at Olive Garden Carly, Sierra, and Whitney Jade, Lindsey, and Lauren Jenny, Whitney and friends Me and Whitney Whitney and her crazy cute friends HELP Blowin kisses to the boys . . . At the movies Wow look at those ice cream sundaes Open Wide On our way to go toilet papering Jade so excited to "TP" On March 13th Whitney turned 14 yrs. old. I can't believe that she is only 2 yrs. away from driving and turning sixteen! Oh my goodness! I have reflected back to the day when our first daughter Whitney was born. What an exciting day for Kevin and I. I had always wanted to be a mom and my dream finally came true. Whitney was such a cute little baby! Fourteen years have flown by and it's hard to believe that she is now in 8th grade at Wahlquist Jr. High. Whitney has always been such a good and quiet girl. She has a lot of great friends. She is especially into boys . . . she's so funny! This year for her birthday she invited 5 of her good friends and I was able to go with her to celebrate her birthday at Olive Garden. It sure was yummy! It was fun listening to her and her friends talk about life and of course, boys. We laughed a lot! After dinner I took the girls to the movie "Confessions Of A Shopaholic." It was a cute show. Then we came back to our house and made hot fudge sundaes. Then at 11:45 PM we decided to go toilet papering. The girls couldn't believe that I would take them toilet papering, they said they're mom's would never let them do that. It brought back memories of when I used to go toilet papering when I was younger. The girls toilet papered 3 houses and got caught at 2 of the houses. It was so dang funny!! We got home around 1:00 AM and I was ready to crash. The girls stayed up and talked and finally went to bed around 3:30 AM. Whitney had a really fun birthday! I Love You Whitney! Love, Mom.
